Doodles (AND AN FAQ)

Why doodle?
I don't know... I guess I just have the urge to draw random things, and see where they progress from there.
What is a doodle?
Hmmmmmm, again, I don't know for sure. According to answers.com, the answer is To scribble aimlessly, especially when preoccupied. That sounds about right to me.
How long does a doodle take to be doodled?
Some doodles take a few minutes, others take a few days, doing a little bit at a time. Back in August 2006, I decided to photograph some of my favourite doodles and put them on this site.
Where's the fun in doodling?
What I like about it is how random it is. Sometimes I can stick with a theme for ages, and other times, a pattern or a new technique can be pulled from a random scribble and developed into something completely different and new.
What about all the pictures on the left?
Click on a picture, and a "Lightbox" window opens up showing the full sized doodle. You can move to the left / right and click to navigate through the doodle gallery, or you can press the left / right arrow keys on your keyboard to move back and forth through the pictures. You can also send all doodles as ecards by following the 'send as ecard...' link in the doodle info bar. Also, all the doodles are also in the doodle ecards category.
